Efficient production with wide sheet steel

There is no doubt that it is an advantage when the loading platform of a trailer is ready for assembly when delivered to the customer.

German Humbauer uses the new laser hybrid welded SSAB products to ensure more efficient manufacturing. The wide steel sheets are offered in sizes up to 8000 x 3000 mm.

The laser hybrid weld is a narrow weld with low heat effects on the material. Compared to other traditional welding methods the result is a smoother weld with less impact on planarity and hardness.

It is also possible to produce tailor made sheet steel dimensions by laser cutting before welding.

The following products are available in wider width:
Domex 600MC, Domex 650MC, Domex 700MC and Domex Wear. Docol 700W, Docol Wear 450, Docol 1200M and Docol 1400M.
