Dogal EHS/UHS steels are available in many degrees of strength for the most diverse applications.

The higher the degree of strength, the greater the potential for reducing the dimensions, thus resulting in a reduction of weight. Weight reductions of up to 40 % are possible, while still retaining the same degree of strength. 

If, for example, a greater degree of strength is required for a design, this can be achieved without increasing the weight of the construction. 

Generally speaking, the formability decreases as the strength increases. However, good formability can be achieved with many high-tensile qualities of steel. This should be taken into consideration accordingly during the design phase.

Steel qualities with greater strength are more costly, of course, but the higher costs are more than balanced out by the smaller amount of steel that is required for the application.
